Thing 1

Is there anyone else like me who feels trepidation about setting up a public blog. Although I like to see what others have to say, I'm not so keen to share my reflections!

    I know what you mean - I notice most people joining CPD23 are quite happy to reveal who and where they are. I'm a bit paranoid I think and have similar reservations to you about making my thoughts public!

      It was good to hear that there is someone else out there who is as paranoid as I am. Are we going to overcome this?

    So how I am or anyone else to really know who you are. It is not as if you are down the street, right? So just go for it. You are the next best thing to being anonymous. I have had a blog for several years now and haven't written hardly anything and every time I do I wonder if the wrong person might read it. But I have decided that networking is more important than worrying about who might read a post and take it the wrong way. I guess I have to believe in a more intelligent and compassionate readership. Also I am a firm believer that people become more accomplished and confident the more they do something.

      I do agree with you Amy. It's in my nature to be private and that's something I need to overcome.
